The seasonal tent is perfect for receptions and the home with its grand staircase, for an intimate wedding especially when snow falls and the estate becomes a winter wonderland. To rent just the facility for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday wedding is $12,000! It was just too much for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like a historic garden wedding, has a large party and big budget. Something old and something new is a wedding tradition at Hildene. Located in the scenic Vermont village of Manchester, Hildene is a truly unique destination. Set on a promontory, the Hildene grounds have breathtaking views of the valley below, and the mountains to the east and west provide the perfect setting for your outdoor ceremony.

This historic, 24-room mansion sits on 500 acres and is home to the oldest residential pipe organ in the country. The facility fee ranges from $8,000 to $18,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time.

Admission is a bit steep ($23 per person), but it does get you access to the house, the grounds, and all of the amenities therein (including the goat farm, Pullman car, miles of trails, etc.). We really enjoyed the Lincoln Family Home and its history.
